>News:
Vortex Multix TKL is out, KBT:Re (IBM PCjr lookalike) is almost sold out.
Keychron Q4 is in pre-launch.
Poorfags looking for 75% just buy Feker IK75.
Keychron Q5 for 96%/full size by end of May, or FL Esports CMK98 (try to avoid buying on Ali for insane shipping prices).

No, Ducky, Steelseries, Razer, Corsair, etc. is not good. You are paying for the brand.

Switches have evolved from the standard red/brown/blue. Use the template and wait for anons to recommend better alternatives.

>get keychron q3 w/ gateron g pro browns
>works great and feels great for the most part
>every direction key feels different
>alt on left side feels amazing to click on but the one on the right feel like shit
are mech switches just prone to have failures and need replaced?

>MK870
>Boba U4
>old set of IMSTO PBT keycaps that I've got lying around

did I do good? I haven't bought a new keyboard since mid 2010s.

Sounds like a pretty solid combo to me.

The Gat pro switches are factory lubed, so you might be the victim of a subpar factory lube job.
You could re-lube the switches that feel weird to you.

>$180 keyboard
>switches aren't binned
Just keychron doing keychron shit.

What are the best keycaps for something like this? I've heard SA profiles "rub together" but the clojure files have sa-profile defined.

I tried SA a while ago but just didn't like how close together/cramped they felt. I use MT3 which is shorter and has smaller tops so that effect is lessened considerably. A short uniform profile like DSA would go even further but I still prefer MT3.

Pretty damn good, FL Esports makes great boards

hi, I have a Carbon Black Q1 with EnjoyPBT keycaps and am using cherry reds.(only have experience with cherry reds and cherry browns, browns were to clicky) I am wanting to expand my palette with switches and new caps. I dont have a budget really just nothing ridiculous tho, My main use is gayming, any recommendations, nothing to clicky although i think i want a higher force idk

boba u4 if you want a tactile that's not too clicky. gateron yellow pro is a factory lubed linear that's cheap but still better than reds and i think has a higher actuation force as well.

Hey Any Forums, not super familiar with the keyboard rabbit hole. Are there any keyboards that have keys with like half length stims? Or I guess what I mean is something kind of in the middle of standard keys and chicklet keys

If you just mean something low profile there are choc switches.

You're probably looking for low profiles. Keychron has a line of them, like the K1/3/5/7. Nuphy Air65/75 is available as well. Epomaker NT68 has a low profile version too.

Thanks anons, I'll search for 'low profile' stuff
