He follows along a research paper on a mRNA vaccine and tries to replicate research results with source code, clearly having 0 background in biology or vaccine research.
You would need to be an exceptional biochemist/physician to even understand latest mRNA vaccine technology. It is in the same realms of complexity as trying to capture an image of a black hole.

Yet this dude just fumbles around with given source code - and when it doesn't work, because he passed a random list of strings to a neural network, he just says - "these guys (mass collaboration of PhDs scientists, biochemist, engineers) don't know what they are doing".
"This could be done simpler.." in reference to clearly well formatted and reviewed research code, where Hotz solution is just skip half of it and complain something doesn't work later. He never got anywhere with it - obviously.

His comma ai? An absolute scam. Google corp could put all its money into AI and achieve nothing close to self-driving car. Elon Musk promised AI self driving decades ago - yet can only do simple, most popular, manually tested roads. There is nothing even close to full self-driving AI as of yet.

He launched it multiple times at this point (comma one ($1200), comma two($999), comma three ($2000) all barely usable and has to be used only on "supported" modern cars).
All "non paid" product reviews are terrible. If you even listen to him trying to pitch his new version to investors: "I have a nice house in San Francisco, its not about the money" as if it justifies your lack of product value. He is essentially selling scuffed tesla AI phone as a startup - marketing it as something else, and the value given is that of a "exciting new thing" mirage, because it is certainly not driving you to work.
