Looks like Proton(Mail) nerfed the Basic VPN plan and I have to pay $10 a month on a monthly basis. Why do VPN companies insist on locking us into a payment scheme?
I just want to use a Slovenian VPN server so I can watch their TV without having to put up with their restrictions

If you really need one (which I doubt it), just host your own. Basic VPS plans are like 3 dollars a month. Plus you can selfhost a shit ton of things like Jabberd, mail, joplin, gitea, searx, etc
