The way it's meant to be played

People who say FSR 2.0 can keep up with DLSS must have eye sight problems

Nvidia is STILL king

kek

that's all you can expect from a cheap imitator

The difference is that whilst yes NV has better quality it can't be used outside of select games that developers made to be compatible
However if NVIDIA makes it so it can be used on anything like FSR then it's gg

FSR 2.0 can't be just applied on any game like 1.0

also FSR 1.0 is a joke and turns your game into cell shading

AYYMD WAS A MISTAKE

I never used FSR, but DLSS is fucking garbage, picture looks like fucking shit.

AI upscaling always turns everything into an oil painting but its particularly bad in this case

Don't care, didnt read, an I still exclusively buy AMD and Intel. Nvidia can go kick rocks.

>Digital Foundry

I'm not really surprised. So far the only upscaler which produces passable and usable results has been DLSS 2.0 and at the same time it's the only one using a significant amount of compute to do it - as in the only upscaler which looks good enough to be worth turning on in practice is computationally expensive and only viable because it uses hardware accelerators beyond the standard shader cores to run. Seeing that yet another "cheap" algorithm like FSR 2.0 does not really measure up is kind of expected at this point, it seems that good upscaling isn't cheap, which also leads to the somewhat paradoxical situation where you need to use an expensive upscaler when the reason you're using an upscaler in the first place is that you need more performance. I guess the only solution is what NVIDIA is doing - using dedicated hardware for the upscaler.

AAAAAAAAAAIIIIIIIIIIIIIIEEEEEEEEEEEE DELET THIS

How tf does dlss look better than 4k native?

it doesn't user

It looks almost the same without sharpening, but there are some issues with things moving around. You can see it in the digital foundry's video

Is there going to be any point in running native in the future?

Yes
Native will always looks better and will never have issues related to upscaling

>ultra quality -> high quality
:|
>FHD upscaled to UHD
:O

It makes up details where it thinks there should be details.
Hence why DLDSR is amazing for old games that don't have much detail.
