>better DAC/AMP
>more output power so it can drive higher impedance headphones
>smaller sizes than phones for activities like exercise
>physical buttons
>headphone jacks
>some people can't use smartphone at work/use dumbphones

Got my CHUs today and turns out the right side doesn't work properly. Gonna return it through Amazon but probably gonna take another month. QC in absolute shambles. Should I buy a new pair?

try it, bad qc dont work twice

blessing or timeless. I kinda think planars are cool.

I think I prefer the original CRA

no, my pair worked for about a week before one side lost sound. Did sound amazing before that tho.

is there a way to auto EQ with equalizer APO?

No, it's for apply EQ, not making it. For making EQ you need REW.

Explain further

I said everything there is to be said.

Just paste the autoeq file in apo's config, you dont even need peace

Ty for input, I expected as much from FR

Yeah obv try for return process. Mine are coming. I swear if this isn't a meme and mine die at some point, I will become a diehard moondropped shill. This is too many complaints to be rec'd

if I buy er2 I'll regret it, right? I feel like they'll hurt

This happened to me, right side got really quiet about a week into using them. Took them apart and did the mmcx mod (that was me in the last thread) and it totally fixed it. Just bad QC.

i own them. They are nice if you want to use them in a public place and just completely focus in on whatever you're doing, but using them everyday for multiple hours is just very uncomfortable and not recommended. If you want an iem to use at home and just chill then get something else

Chu is bad, I bought 3 Chu and none of them works
I will provide no evidences whatsoever, nevermind pictures to prove I own them
But Chu is bad because I said so, so take my word for it, do not buy Chu

>t.sharur

thanks lad, what about chu?

What about the meme dac?

Cope harder. I am . I love my Chus, they sound excellent, but losing 80% volume in the right ear after a couple days of normal usage and requiring a resolder to fix is just bad quality control.

If you buy Chu, order a soldering iron as well and at least save yourself the shipping.

What's a good fun retro mp3 player you can find for cheap on eBay? Just for shits and giggles. Also to be honest, I miss the bare bones tactile UI of the time, phone screens just aren't as fun.

sharur actually likes the chu. I'm still not sure if sharur is a real person or someone making an impression of the biggest loser they could think of though, so it's hard to tell if he actually liked them
