So what stops you from getting 3-4 certificates from Udemy and becoming a Junior System admin?

What else do you need? If you have basic computer skills?

Sir I have CCNP and RedHat and 0 job experience can I administer your server sir

aren't certificates from Udemy like 400$ each? or is this edX?

doesnt count as a real diploma in my country
even if i get a job, i wouldnt be paid as high as if ive got a real diploma

That's edX. Udemy are mostly €10 courses.

Noone cares about diplomas, get few years of experience, and you will be paid just as much

basically confused it with udacity

Because coursera exists, and udemy courses are worthless.

Also, how do i become a junior sysadmin.

2 Sys Admins recommend me Udemy, dunno wtf are you talking about

What does a sysadmin even do?
sudo systemctl restart xxx, if something breaks

Anyone can publish a course at Udemy, so the quality varies greatly. Look for recommendations or read some reviews before wasting your time and money.

anything you can recommend?

sys admin is a "clean up other peoples' messes all day" job
you're LITERALLY a janitor

Udemy certificates are worthless

A Janitor with a salary, CHECKMATE NEET

> look up udemy certifications
> pick random cybersecurity course/diploma
> preview the course
> «teacher» is using google on a cybersecurity course
> switch to another one
> «teacher» is using windows to teach cybersec

Blatant redflags there, probably hosts are not qualified and don’t really work in their field

>> «teacher» is using google on a cybersecurity course
good bait, here's a (you)

Most people in IT have no idea what they are doing anyway, and most IT jobs are not real jobs, being afraid to even try is what stops you from being already employed

Words of truth, as a cst support who recently became a "Specialist ops support" it's like WTF am I even working? My grandma asks, and I stutter unable to explain, and she called me a faggot

Where can i get free udemy courses?

Cool grandma

Coursera has a $60/month subscription which gives you access to all courses, certificates etc. Those courses are made by professors from top universities, professionals, and people from top companies and they have very high standards, some courses take weeks/months to complete and at the end you can go for certification. On udemy, you pay $10 for a course that lasts between 1h to 10h and are mostly made by neets or unqualified people.

I have torrented 200+ courses and i was able to find only 2 courses which have somewhat of a value, nothingfreefodecamp on youtube wouldnt teach me.

*torrented udemy courses

you literally can't get the sertificates with only the subscription tho?

user, how will you secure the Windows computers in accounting if you don't know about powershell and active directory? What if the boss needs some 'excel databases' and he can't stop opening weird emails?

you're too poor to play 10$? I am too, care to share said torrent site?

>Sir I have CCNP and RedHat and 0 job experience can I administer your server sir
Thing is many people don't want to pay you big salary, which you'd want if you had experience, hence why they will hire 1 capable IT that can teach you in a few months, and have you slave for pennies, which benefits both, as you get experience

Whith coursera plus you can (to some degree). Its extra $10 monthly. Or $400 yearly. Ofc harvard has a 3-4 year CS "course" (2h a day) and the degree of certification (some respected paper) will put you back $7k+

Night people are all fucked up but vastly cooler people

Tutsnode.net, 1337x and many more. You can download any torrent on 1337x and have like 5 different text files in course directory with links to different torrent site. It boils down to quality rather than the price.
