Why is GNOME including these weird apps that nobody really likes?
Is anyone actually using GNOME Web as a browser, when Firefox and Chromium exist and are both open source?
Is anyone using GNOME Music and GNOME Photos?

It's the internet explorer for the GNOME platform.
>Is anyone actually using GNOME Web as a browser,
Masochists
But why.
There is no financial incentive for including it.
Or, do they get money from Google search as Firefox does? That would at least make sense
Probably easy to make with existing libraries and engines
Makes the DE look more complete
They've been doing a ton of shit that nobody wanted or asked for for years.
lol it's real
circle.gnome.org
and it's "showcasing" best GNOME apps... that have the quality of Android apps from 2007. Great. GNU/Linux!
>There is no financial incentive for including it.
There is no financial incentive for any free software.
Tried GNOME recently and it's a nightmare, if you want to do anything other than open a browser then use something else and use something else regardless because of how bloated it is, it takes so long to open apps.
Does anyone actually use gnome anymore? I thought everyone switched to xfce and kde plasma?
Everyone outside the tiny Any Forums bubble is using GNOME.
Doesn't KDE have its own web browser too?
I know WebKit/Safari (and therefore Chrome/Blink) is based on KHTML originally, but no idea where are they today with it
None of the links on the apps even work, there is something called "flathub" and it keeps loading
I use gnome. I tried xfce it just looks awful. I'm not gay enough to try KDE. Gnome it is.
the browser isnt that bad, used it to find volunerabilities/exploits a month or two or 3 ago. no comment on the newest update to the web browser if it exists. there are worse DE than GNOME... as for lag.webm ^, i dont trust your example, i dont trust anyone who uses a bottom pannel
Gnome Web is the last stand of Webkit
No, iToddlers doesn't count
Captcha RAPDJ
they do, except they don't install it by default. gnome devs are literal asshole

>Android apps from 2007
What?
I'm inside the tiny Any Forums bubble and I use GNOME. And I bet at least half of lurkers here use it too. Only the vocal minority keep shitting on GNOME whereas most people don't really care that much.
Aside from being pretty lightweight and minimalistic, it also properly fits in with their design philosophy and guidelines. Advanced users are just going to install their browser of choice anyway, and others won't need more functionality than what's provided by Epiphany.
>that have the quality of Android apps from 2007
What is that supposed to mean? Could someone translate this to non-autistic retard?
