these people have started dropping my real name into online areas. they said that they are "going to find me" in real life. long story short my friends niece teased me and i teased back and now there is a gang of friendless retards trying to dox me online in my community. not so much afraid of my info getting out as most of it is already known. however it does piss me off to no end that a group of discord incels are after me now for no good reason. what should i do? should i get a vpn? hire a cyber investigator or something? i just feel like it wont end for a very long time unless i do something

essentially at this point. they have their own little server and one insider told me that they have gathered as much personal info on me as possible to use against me if they decide. they probably didnt get much besides my name and social accounts so far. and yeah telling my name in a mutuals discord to hundreds of people and a semi popular twitch channel where i am considered a good friend to the streamer. they put my info randomly in chat and stuff

I don't know what you do for a living, I assume you're probably a creator and unfortunately being so easily available to your audience (Discord, Twitch, Twitter) was eventually going to backfire at you. My advice is to do what huge ecelebs have done in similar scenarios, and just take a hiatus and stay offline for a while until those people get bored of doing it. It probably won't take long. I'd advice you to stay off from Discord in general. Being so available as a public figure is a terrible idea hence why no really successful content creator participates in their own Discord servers. Any Forums is wrong about a lot of things, but their hate towards Discord is completely right. Best of luck, user.
