Please tell me the distro which just works. I installed Opensuse and I'm really annoyed with default repository's ffmpeg package which is limited codecs.
I'm considering to move to KDE neon or Fedora WS(or silverblue). Please suggest other distros if you think it's better then those.
Arch with the built in archinstall script has been comfy for me so far.

>how do I REALLY close a window you retards? >uh learn these 40 different keyboard commands Linux and OS X are the exact same fucking thing but OS X is artificially restricted to its own dated hardware to make sure the drivers always work.

All the ubuntus just works, debian just works, the basic bitch versions of arch just works, fedora just works Everything just works, why the fuck do you all deliberately install obscure meme distros like gentoo or opensuse and then complain when everything doesnt just work. I cant comprehend you faggots

Ubuntu.
Then get the following extensions to fix GNOME: - user styles - dash to panel - arc menu
>just works. None of them, ubuntu/debian and others all have fucked packages in their repos. You have to live with building from source sometimes no matter what.

Either use Windows or buy a Mac. I've used hundreds of distributions and they all suck. It's a combination of laziness, gnu just being generally shit, and the gatekeeping community surrounding it. Nothing is ever truly tested properly. I can't think of a single Linux distribution that isn't a steaming pile of bull poo.

Linux Mint. Its uses Ubuntu's code then adds a comfy windows-like theme on it that makes it familiar. Very polished. Feels like a paid linux repo if I'm being honest.

Ubuntu is great because the large horde of brainlets asking questions on the forums makes it easy to find solutions to problems. Community size is undeniably a feature when it comes to foss, though I guess I can also see why a more experienced user would see that as a con.

Install opi and use "opi codecs". openSUSE just works.
