You have like a month to find a job and become indispensable before the bottom falls out of the industry.

Although,
>junior
is going to make it that difficult. Good luck, although I don't have any advice other than git gud

feepie beepie

>Nicotine is an Insecticide

>technical interview
>one coding exercise
>in ten minutes

Nobody expects junior devs to ace their interview. If you got one leetcode problem correct and one almost correct, answered a good chunk of random technical questions, and got another coding challenge correct, you're doing great.
Don't get your hopes up too much though. There are a lot of things besides competency that can result in you not getting an offer - many of them outside your control.

imagine not smoking

>bottom falls out
I've worked with people like you. You spend more time cowering in fear under middle management than actually working. And then somehow you get fired, lol.

I've already made myself indispensable. I think I'll be just fine

>doesn't make you high
>doesn't make you buzzed
>doesn't make you fast
>doesn't make you relax
>doesn't do anything
>makes you addicted for literally zero reason
>kills you of lung cancer in your 50's as a bonus
I smoked cigs for like 2 months and i can gladly say: biggest fucking meme ever created. Only reason people do this is because it makes you look cool.

Not every software company is a startup operating at a loss living off VC money.

>2016
>doesnt smoke cigarettes
Are you bullied in school, a retard or both?
>b-but smoking is deadly!
So? Is the goal in life to live as long as possible?
>b-b-but it's addicting!!!!!
No it isn't, unless you're underage and don't know how to smoke withing limits.
>*sigh*, it's a waste of money
Who say's you have to buy a new pack every single day, you fucking peat gavel.

I have 7 years experience, an excellent track record including patents, and time at fagman, but I've never done leetcodes before. I interviewed for a junior role recently. The prescreen was 2 leetcode questions. I got the algorithm right but there was an odd bug in both tasks, I would just need a little more time to fix them.
Anyway, despite all this, I got an automated message a week later (better than most, usually it's just ghosting!) about their moving forward with another applicant.
7 years ago, not only did I get my pick of jobs with no experience, I also didn't have to do any kind of leetcode if I didn't want to. The usual in-person was fizz-buzz tier and the usual take-home was on-domain and required writing a report about what your solution is to explain your design choices (pros and cons, technique and software choice, etc.). I'm sure there are locality issues involved, but holy fuck shit's completely fucked over here.

i smoked regularly for a 2 years but started having really bad chest pain while breathing and would always have a bitter taste at the back of my mouth. so i quit. i don't wanna live forever but don't wanna die an expensive painful pathetic death on a hospital bed either.

>doesn't make you fast
it actually does make you fast

I must have some sort of immunity then, because i've never felt really anything when smoking cigarettes. My mother side of the family are all heavy smokers tho so there's that.

The mother has a large effect on reactivity to external agents (pathogens, drugs, and even foods: how you process fat vs carbs is largely derived from the pregnant mother's diet). It is a relatively well known phenomenon that if the mother is using drugs while pregnant, the kid, if he survives, is born with very high resistance to said drug.

>Current year
>"Take the cig, ya queer."

>cigarettes
Smoke cigars like a man, ya fag.

imagine the smell

What's going to happen in a month? Will companies stop using computers and go back to paper and pencils? Or maybe companies will stop connecting their computers together and go back to using disks. I can't wait a month to find out. I've got to know now.

They consider you undesirable and you can never ever get a job again (as opposed to new fresh grads).

>>doesn't make you relax
>>doesn't do anything
Wrong. I keep one pack in my drawer that lasts me around half a year. It only takes one fag to calm me down after I get really anxious about something. It just werks.
