There, sorted.

uh, how many maths are there?

About 42

great thread, user!

Bruh vector and matrix math ain't easy. I tried getting into game dev but i don't understand shit. I was able to make 2D stuff (since 2D algos are simpler to understand, collision etc) but nothing 3D except rotating cube tier shit
I'm a EE by trade so math is supposed to be my strong suit

Should've tried to learn C++ before jumping right into game dev

Well...

that's just newton's method with added bitfuckery.

there is only one mathematic, don't believe the lies

you left out le epic swear word comments

That's the easiest part. Tricky part is how to implement physics after understanding it.

copy-pasted code from SGI that was originally found in a research paper.

>Wow, I'm so edgy and different for being an asshole to strangers for no reason!

You mean innumerate bonganon
Here you go pimbook.org

engine devs and game devs are two completely different animals

not even fast anymore

You sound like someone who has been developing games lately......

Nope just bash scripts, but you sound like someone who's been sucking corporate dick lately.

>gee, how do i get back at people being assholes to strangers on the internet?
>*light bulb*
>I've got it! *I'LL* be the asshole to *THEM*!!

This but unironically.
Fighting fire with fire just werks, seethe harder about it

devs know precalculus, discrete math and some basic calculus, what else do they need exactly?
They're not Carmack making a 3d engine.
