Why do people say Linux is hard to use? I have a verified IQ of 96 (from a real IQ test, not some Facebook quiz) and I'm able to use distros like Debian and Fedora just fine. Sometimes I might run into an issue, but it's never anything that copying and pasting a few things into the terminal can't fix. I think you guys are just stubborn to learn anything other than Windows.

See, that's something you don't experience on Windows (or macOS for that matter) if you have a midwit IQ.
The amount of brains - or retardation - required to break Windows is immense, hence why Any Forums has so much trouble with it.
KYS retard.
it's not hard, it's just unnecessarily obtuse
>just memorize a line of code for every single form of functionality instead of just pressing a button bro
>you'll be such a cool epic hacker badass bro i swear
> literally doesnt know what the command line is
> literally doesnt know it exists on every OS
> literally thinks there is no desktop environment shipped with linux
KYS
Windows breaks on its own thanks to its god awful update client and as of Windows 10 you don't even get the option to avoid shit updates. It's like Arch but run by pajeets.
gui software in linux is sort of like flipping coin
copying files between storage devices, formatting storage devices, package management - ui tools may work most of the time, but you can't really rely on them because undelying thing is probably just stringing together shell commands prone failure instead of calling a rigid, standardized system api
Another AI upscaled fed-thread.
Never had an update
>Faggot assumes that user doesn't knows the basics of computer science.
Nice inferiority, was this the new last thing you've learned about computers for you to assume that about others?
Only because you pirate the LTSC/Education version that lets you opt out. The actual, out of the box experience that at least 90% of the userbase experiences, and that you have to pay $200 for, is terrible.
The only thing I'm gonna use windong for is playing Fallout 3 when my 2500k arrives. I might even just try to get it running on Arch instead of downloading an LTSC iso and going through all that with my SSD. Niggers tongue my anus.
poop head
Nice malware
>Why do people say Linux is hard to use?
People actually believe memes, have baby duck syndrome, or just troll. Most of the complaints here come from those who know that they should move away from the technological equivalent of fast food to Linux and even BSD, but as they realize how much damage has been done, they would rather just complain.
Doesn't change the fact that Windows a literally a botnet who waste the CPU just to send data to satanic agencies. You can cry me a river dude, I am just delighted to destroy wintards whenever God gives me an opportunity to do so
>See, that's something you don't experience on Windows
Maybe if all you do is browse twatter and fagbook.
If you actually use it for more than that, it'll commit suicide regularly, even if you don't update it (which is generally not a good idea - you should at least be installing security updates).
And after all of that, Microsoft still mines the fuck out of your data. Ever tried turning off all of the telemetry in Windows 10 (or 11)? Have fun. You'll never stop it all and still have a usable machine.
I think you're just salty that your IQ is half of OP's.
>basics of computer science.
?
i think you took it personally lol
Imagine being so retarded that you don't even know what you're talking about.
He clearly did. He's a little bitch.

lmao
Please also make this thread on Any Forums i wanna see their reaction
There objectively is nothing hard about Linux. Crybabies who grew up with Windows are afraid of change. It is somewhat uncomfortable in the first month or two, but that's purely the result of habits they've built over the past 10-20 years. If you start a child on Linux, they will learn it just as easily as people learned Windows back in the day.
It's not necessarily a question of how hard. Very intelligent people will prefer Mac or Windows its easier but because it suits their needs or desires for a computer better. Linux is wonderful for people comfortable with the terminal, but to some people this is very unpleasant. It's poor user experience for many users. Decades of GUI development and marketing occured for a reason user. Abstracted, conceptual and visual interfaces just make sense. Now of course, Linux has a variety of desktop environments available and possible. But that's just the issue, this isn't something people want to deal with it. They want their computer to work for them, not the other way around. To be sure, Windows and Mac have their own issues but as the market has demonstrated these are much more tolerable than those of competing platforms. Ubuntu and distros similar in philosophy are closest to success for consumer PCs - it should just work. A normie never wants to hear the words "package manager". Hardware and software support complexities also make it more of a non-starter (ie, Nvdia's essentially non-existent drivers, the horror of trying to install on any laptop other than a hand selected model with known audio, wifi, etc comaptibility)
GUI go brrrrr
lwnbapos (linux will never be a popular OS)
