Using an adblocker is a crime against humanity

Besides taking money away from content producers, you motivate them to use a paywall and kick all poorer people away. Soon there will be no free services anymore.

I turned off my adblocker once, I was immediately barraged with so many ads that I thought I was on a 2001 japanese porn website. You'd think that as time went on we'd see cleaner sites with less adds, but no the opposite is true.

The blocker stays on

If paywalls are created more and more...Then piracy grows bigger and bigger.

There's business methods that allow for free to use with full access. But pay for other addons.
Like Call of Duty Warzone, free, but can buy skins.

i don’t need anything to except my isp and usenet.

You don’t deserve my submission. BTW I do heavily support major open source projects as well as ivy research programs. Because they deserve my submission.

>NOOOOOOOO YOU CAN'T JUST PAYWALL YOUR NARUTO REACTION VIDEO #38947 THAT'S CONTENT THAT SHOULD BE AVAILABLE TO ALL
>WHAT WOULD WE EVEN WATCH IF THERE WEREN'T A FINANCIAL INCENTIVE TO CREATE CONTENT????

>Taking money away from greedy fucks who don't want to get a real job and contribute to society, but still want risk-free income
Yes and?
>You motivate them to participate in the economy and make things worth paying for
Yes and?

This is actually EXACTLY what I asked for.

Then stop making ads so intrusive. I don't need a million things buzzing in front of me.

The current model is not working.

Scam

kill yourself.

this.
I have listened to local radio for years. I har XM radio for a few years about 10 years ago. I am listening to Coast to Coast AM right now. Radio knows how to advertise without being too damn annoying. Why? We can reach over and change the station. They strike a balance to keep you from switching the dial.

good because if the service is free you are the product.

>coast to coast am
oh great another 30 minutes of non intrusive ads

bait thread

i thought we agreed i'll whore out my data for free content

If ads were just static images and didn't execute all sorts of malicious code, open popups, clickjack, play obnoxious sounds, and cover 50% of the webpage, there would be no need for adblocking.
Advertisers and website owners hosting their ads were greedy faggots that didn't care their ads were hurting users, and only wanted to maximize profit.
They violated the NAP and are now simply facing the consequences.
I will block their ads, circumvent their paywalls, pirate and share their content with others for free.
They didn't give a fuck. Why should I?

Good. The ad-supported Internet should disappear.

The people I actually would want my ad revenue to go to don't even properly see 99% of what little money it actually generated. So no fuck this bullshit. And paid services(as seen by Netflix) would only start showing ads after I'm already inside their walled garden. So fuck you the ad blocker stays on.

>You'd think that as time went on we'd see cleaner sites with less adds
No. To keep impressions high, the people who don’t block ads are exposed to N times more to make up for ad-blocking users.

Advertising is a fucking crime against humanity.

>white and yellow
I'm blocking your ads for assaulting my eyes

This
The advertisers did it to themselves. People made ad blockers because ads suck.

This is also bullshit. In fact shows now on cable television (where you can't skip the ads) are specifically made shorter to allow to put more room for ads. Corporate faggots will always make a bigger dildo regardless of whether you want to take it up the ass or not.

That's exactly what you get for stealing client resources, draining mobile batteries, and being malware vectors.

Had your chance and blew it. Seethe.

good. i will continue to do it. fuck yourself Linus Sebastian.

Based.
