is it only in the US, or do they use the word "battery" for an "accumulator" in other English-speaking countries too?

>accumulator
I don't live in the US and I've never heard this used to refer to a battery

Well, excuse me for calling things what they really are and not accommodating for butchered english american use.

they call it Akku in germany

In some languages, there is a clear distinction between a "battery" and an "accumulator".
Both are devices that store energy, both can discharge energy, but only an accumulator can be charged, and a battery is non-rechargeable.
Obviously, that's not how it works in US English, but I was curious if maybe e.g. British people used it that way

I heard, accumulator/battery mean the same thing over here. But for some fucked up reason we also call radiators "batteries".

eastern europe yes

I remember 2 years ago when my Huawei Mate 10 lite's battery only lasted for 2 hours at 100% and then I realized there was a bulge in the display and it almost fucking blew up

>But for some fucked up reason we also call radiators "batteries".
It's so you can get an electric battery that runs on a battery and then whack somebody over the head with it, then you'll be charged with battery with a battery battery.

bonus points for doing it near the artillery battery

Works on my machine.

I didn't ask you.

This is what they took from us.

just bloatmaxing.

>but only an accumulator can be charged, and a battery is non-rechargeable
So would they call picrel accumulators then??
