I am totally serious. For the love of god if you are currently in the process of deciding whether to use linux or macs choose the mac 100%. Even if you can barely afford it it will pay you huge returns in the long run. All the time and sanity saved from not dealing with all the linux-bs. Time and energy which you can put into work which will easily pay your mac off in no time.
I went down the linux-path and totally regret it. Now I'm broke and can not afford a mac. If I could go back in life when I was on the cross-road and had some money for a mac I would totally by it.
