It's always the same black, gray, or some obscure shade of blue or gold. Where the fuck are the colors? It makes me depressed. First time I look for a laptop in 7 years and this is the absolute state of things?
Where are the bright blues, reds, yellows, greens, and oranges?
apple will make new colorful imac-like MacBooks please anticipate everyone else copying them soon

>Where the fuck are the colors? Normalfags often associate metallic colors or plain shades with precious metals, durability, business, and high value. For instance, wedding rings, women's jewelry, businesswear, and jet planes. Conversely, strong colors are usually associated with play, childishness, and discount values. Colorful blocks, discount tags, cheap food, playground equipment, and so on. It's not like these things are exclusive (consider flashy sports cars for example), but particularly in the tech space, when people see colorful plastics or metals, they think it is cheap and for kids. That's a part of why Any Forums boomers hate RGB shit, whether they want to admit it or not.

The cheapest line of HP laptops still has vivid colors if you can live with the plastic (and its poor performance). Around 2010 it was still acceptable to use (high quality) plastics and vivid colors for midrange laptops. Now most of chassis or at least the backlid is of aluminium. Otherwise recoloring services like ColorWare exist, for popular products such the MacBook, iPhone or Xbox.
