I have a bunch of 4gb DDR3 laptop dimms and I don't know what to do with them. They're not worth much.
Is there anything interesting or cool I can do with them? Like some old server motherboard I can use them in and make something fun? I'm grasping here.

Are you using Chrome on Windows?

My laptop got fried and I had to get the motherboard replaced, so now it's promoting me to unlock it with a bitlocker key
Only thing is I don't have the key and none of my accounts have my device registered. All I really want to do is recover my data but idk how. Pls help.
I know, but I figured some thin 1U one or something might use them

It's done'd. Probably a TPM-encrypted bitlocker.

How can I blacklist this website? Domain blacklisting isn't working here. I've blocked Any Forums.org, 4channel.org, and 4cdn.org but can still browse just fine on my PC.
>What's the advantage of btrfs over ext4? Copt-on-write, so virtually impossible to corrupt. Data checksums, so data corruption is detected. It manages volumes, replacing LVM. Snapshots per subvolume; online compression; btrfs-send.
Compared to ext4, btrfs lacks fscrypt support.

The problem is the LocalCDN extension.

in my folders in file explorer only a few thumbnails pop up for webms, pics etc. how do i fix this
and i have 7 fans in my pc, if i wanted to turn half of them off and have my pc idle to download something overnight, how would i do this
btrfs is secretly two databases which act in concert like a filesystem but the abstraction is half baked and has some weird side effects like internal fragmentation and inode number collisions. If your distro uses it by default, they probably figured out how to work around most of this. If you have to ask and they don't choose for you, use xfs on top of lvm.
