Why does it have all the bloat on the left side?
t. Windows 10 2nd to W7, dumbass windows race
That reminds me, depending on how Windows 12 goes, will dictate if I actually go full loonix.
WOW
fuck off. this isn't r/windowsinsiders or neowin.net.
honestly looks like inconsistent cancer, also it is just an exact clone of KDE task manager
>Why does it have all the bloat on the left side?
This nigga never worked in any tech position.
>the same damn thing with a little prettifying
figure out wslg ffs
Ah yes, because what I want most when I'm trying to find what retarded piece of shit application is maxing out my RAM/CPU is a bloated mess of a program with a fucking side bar.
Next you're going to tell me they disabled the ability to use the tab key to select things so when my mouse is locked up by a crashing game I'm just forced to restart.
>using windows in a tech position
I mean, you're right, I'm an Airframer working on airplanes and shit. Doesn't take a genius to know that task manager from the previous few decades was better than this.
hmmmm
looks like bloated shit and has many design flaws like duplicate statistics all over
reminder to install OpenSUSE Tumbleweed
it's a better version of W**dows.
get.opensuse.org
YAST is better than anything M$ could ever hope to make.
It certainly fits Microsoft's new design mantra of "a window should be filled with useless or redundant shit and dead space"
Process Explorer ftw
why are the values for cpu, gpu, memory, etc. duplicated?
MS aren't staffed by humans anymore
Is there no option to run a new task any more? Used to be handy to open task manager, kill explorer and then restart it in place without doing a logout and login
does it stop hanging for several seconds whenever I switch tabs?
>"new" task manager
>2012 task manager with tabs moved to the left instead
Touch controls
It's amazing how even though I have a 4k monitor, I still can't stand wasted design. It's pure mobile garbage for idiots using objectively inferior control schemes that require massive shitty buttons.
What's sad is that we solved this problem over 30 fucking years ago. I owned a fucking PDA with an actual touch screen that came with a stylus. You can use 2 fingers to zoom? That's nice, can you write a letter that isn't the size of the whole screen?
nobody cares
windows lost
copying KDE won't save it
Linux and KDE won
I just love it how they embed the ancient looking Windows 8 style task manager into the modern frame of windows 11. It's insane how they can manage to embed something ancient into something new.
