>System-wide Live Captions

>Windows 11 22H2 brings system-wide on-device live captioning.
>The operating system can automatically transcribe spoken content from any audio source, including microphones. The latter means users with hearing problems can get captions and follow in-person conversations live.

Uh bros?

This is not true, please dear sir, delete this post.

And it's gonna be garbage powered by bing translation.

How good fis the Android Subsystem for Windows?

Windows has a built-in speech recognition engine ever since windows 7. tho, it wasnt very good when i last test it

too lazy to read, is wslg coming?

Not ltsc me no care

nope sorry

>Folder Previews
Took them long enough. Who the fuck thought it was a good idea to remove it in the first place.

damn, hopefully we'll see it this year, thanks

Great, now I can get transcriptions of Russian camwhores.

My laptop came with Windows 11 Home and it wouldn't even let me perform first-time setup or login without an internet connection and a Microsoft account. I will never use Windows 11 as long as this remains true.

That's very useful, as long as:
>You can (actually) turn it off if/when you don't want it
>It doesn't send any of its transcriptions anywhere
Will there be a way to make sure?

Is this shit going to wipe my rEFind?

When should we expect the next LTSC version (which I'm assuming will be Windows 11)?

22H2?
when the latest version is still 21H2??
what the fuck microsoft

Of course not because ots closed source. But ppl will wireshark it up and probably get it mostly right as far as what it sends.

>22H2
you meant 22h1 right?
