Today I realized I can use Anki to memorize keyboard shortcuts.
I am a dumbass for just realizing this now.

nakadashi

she's borderline autistic

but in general a good way to learn is to delete what you have until you do it right.
learning vim?
used arrow keys to move - put your cursor back and do it right
learning emacs?
used gui to open file - close it and use C-x C-f or whatever

Even better.

dont care, had nakadashi

And that's a good thing

yeah I tried the regular way and it just breaks my flow so much that I get confused
I'm sure it works for most people though

imagine the nakadashi

You're a dumbass for needing Anki to remember like 10 keybinds. Tard.

This also nigga can just bind shortcuts to his num pad

Retard.

>yeah I tried the regular way and it just breaks my flow so much that I get confused
That's almost the point
You're just supposed to recognize the bad behavior really.
If you did a pushup or something instead it'll break your flow less but still act as a physical reminder.

Kino ED. Why is sumire's video no longer on YouTube?

what kind of keyboard shortcuts are you remembering?

i want to know all the shortcuts

How many keyboard shortcuts do you need to learn?

Threads about keyboard shortcuts are def more Any Forums than Any Forums

Why god why would you ever memorise keyboard shortcuts. Just don't use GUI shortcuts and keep a cheat sheet next to your monitor and you'll memorise every shortcut worth learning.

The thing about keyboard shortcuts is you're building muscle memory more than you're building a memory of what the shortcut actually is in many cases, and Anki won't build muscle memory.
