freenom has a very limited TLD selection and you never actually own the domain. once your website gets popular they have a history of pulling the domain out from under you.

A VPS capable of supporting more traffic than you will likely get is $5-$10/month, and there are other hosting platforms.
Domain names cost almost nothing per year.
IF you dont have $15/month (or less) to dedicate to this you are a shitter.
