no because they utterly fucked it up with this utterly autistic rfc it's not even funny rust-lang.github.io
There mistake was not calling it cd and including the flags that are associated with it. I don't know why they want to reinvent the wheel. If they want to take over the OS they should make tools that people are already familiar with instead of trying to be unique. If I have to choose between this bloated garbage and cd I'll stick with cd.

Alright, I'll bite... What's the issue with this?
it will take decades, but yes
Oh great, a solution to a problem no one had.
Take over? No.
But some of the newer tools like these are pretty neat.
I've noticed myself reaching for ripgrep more often than grep, now. And broot is pretty neat too, whenever I remember to use it.
There's no point in just re-implementing cd. Think of this as just another tool, built specifically for interactive use.
>cd: give it a path, enter it
>z: give it a path. Is it the real one? Is that the alias? Is that a directory inside the current directory? Do I have to press Tab+Space?
your average Rust project: rewrites something that already exists or solves problems that do not exist
No one wants to deal with Rusties and their need for safe blocks.
