Thank fuck I don't live in a city.

Why americans are always like this?

How is this any different to home "ownership"?

For staying a night in the city or during a long layover at an airport it's fine. Can't imagine living in one though.

Because the ability to customize your environment, over time, makes your environment an extension of your body. There are times where I don't even think about what I'm doing and my body just goes to the shower, to the sink, to the fridge, etc. because my brain is wired to go there.

This is aptly demonstrated by riced desktops where becoming accustomed to a particular set of key macros allows higher productivity. If you have to dig through a menu every time, it's more _ACCESSIBLE_, but if you can customize it to particular workflows it allows superheros to develop extra-ordinary productivity.

This wiring, these differences in peoples behavior, is what makes TRUE diversity in man and culture

you children will inherit the home, meaning that only person has to go through a life of debt. Pod living is permanent, every generation will rent shitty pod homes and be in debt for other things.

I swear the WEF thinks the whole world is a big airport that needs to have the same handful of businesses and the same social norms everywhere.

>you children
meant to say your

Ugh, debt is terrible. It really convinces you to work jobs you think are bad / unethical sometimes. Like having your hands tied behind your back. Invisible handcuffs.

Are the bugs supplied with the pod or this is a separate subscription ?

Here's a better example: your shoes. When you first got them, they felt weird and you couldn't run / use your feet to maximum potential. But after a while you get used to it (your brain physically adjusts the muscle motions to the slight change in footwear) and then it's like you don't even feel them. It's almost like it becomes a part of your foot.

The WEF isn't the problem, it's always been vapid bullshit. People were already living in ze pod before the infamous meme speech.
The problem is people choosing to do this shit entirely by their own volition, for no other reason than to justify living in the fucking Bay Area.

you will live in a cuck pod
you will consume porn
you will own nothing
and you will be happy
unironically kys OP

What's good about them? There's no room to adjust anything to your liking. This is pretty much the same thing as living in a cardboard box in an alley. You can only lay there and nothing else. If you feel like changing position there's very little room for that. Anything else must be done outside of it. You want to make popcorn or learn to play the guitar or play multiplayer games with your friends? Or have a barbeque party or get intimate with a partner? Or build some shelf or a shoe rack or a closet in your own workshop room as a hobby? Paint or sculpt something? Fix and clean your bicycle? Store your hiking boots? Own pets? You need a real place if you want to keep your brains stimulated. With one of those pods you're only losing IQ points every day. Nothing to do but wait for your life to be over eventually. Yeah you can be close to your sweatshop that way but why would you even want to gather wealth if you have to lose everything to get it?

You have to pay for bugs because that is unethical suffering of an animal but the onions and buttplug cock cages are free of charge

what you are saying is that a piece of land is like a tool that is an extnesion of your body and allows you to do and achieve more.

I am not debating that. some people can't afford that though. Thems just the facts

And here's another reason: being around people is another vibe from being in solitude. Retards like being around people because it's easy to follow the vibe and not think at all. Intellectuals like being in solitude because it allows them to explore their thoughts / expand themselves without interruption.

If everybody lived in a pod, judging my these pictures, the physical proximity would be so preventative of doing anything "out of the vibe" and restrict thoughts (and consequently innovation) to a large degree.

There's even a difference in music you can test for yourself when you're with a crowd or if you're alone. Crowd vibes are good for Grateful Dead and jam bands, being alone is good for dubstep and EDM

Now a micro-hotel (picrel) is what you're looking for. I believe I saw something like this in Vietnam or something. Smaller spaces allow hotel owners to create more rooms / square foot which means higher supply, which means lower prices.

But even this is only good for travel or fastman-ing. You're not gonna raise a kid here or do anything cool like playing a saxophone or doing paintings. You can't keep a library or an electronics lab. You couldn't even melt metals here like gold and silver. Or even store hazmat like nitric acid for testing precious metals.

if you think living in a pod is hte same as living ain a cardboard box in the alley you are an idiot who has never been truly homeless and desparate.

which is exactly why the system which limits debt to first generation home owners is better than the system where everyone is in debt forever.

The solution for that is high-rises or multi-story buildings. Eventually, we're gonna need to live in a ship either in the ocean or in space. But for now, in this generation, we got enough to start innovating
