What do you dislike about this language?

Not real OOP.

All of it

Come home, white man.

It's over, seppletons.

>real OOP hasn't been tried yet

that's not at all what they were saying

It tramples on the elegance of C

c plus plus?
no thanks, I'll stick to c plus rust

It unironically hasn't, read the real design.

It has. It's called Java, and boy am I glad this shit's dying.

what planet do you live on where java is dying?

No ergonomic disjoint unions

The sole fact that it is a niggerifed version of C. Other than that I don't care about it in the slightest.

How many languages have been invented to fix java (remove OO) so far?

>Actually I made up the term "object-oriented", and I can tell you I did not have C++ in mind.

how many languages have been invented to fix c?
did they kill c?

Well, C is kind of dead where C++ can be used instead. The linux world being the exception.
Thought in recent years it feels like there's been kind of a resurgence of C.

I think you underestimate just how entrenched enterprise software is with the java ecosystem. even if every company today decided to never write another thing in java, it would still take several decades to die. Other languages built on top of the JVM are gaining popularity, but in the end they will still call java libraries and utilize the java ecosystem.
