Soon they will be one

They've been trying to do that for like 5 years. Use cases for phone and computer are just too different, they will never fully merge.

What use cases cannot be converged, in your view?

Most work related things. I can't connect two monitors, a keyboard, and a mouse (at least not yet). And then run any cpu intensive program.

And then there's gaming which still keeps desktop computers alive.

>gaming
Actually playing games like a child is more popular on mobile now.

However mobile games suck which keeps pc alive. Women "gamers" on mobile.

>2007: we shrunk and entire macintosh into your pocket. Enjoy catching up, everyone else
>2020: our pocket macintosh has faster performance than most desktops, so we're using its chips in our other macs too

Can you imagine all the fungal infections just waiting for your body in that bathroom?

All games suck. They're just lame toys for consoomers.

>windows mobile pdas with phone capabilities
literally no one had those and im almost 30

Based Apple.

if anything phone are killing portable consoles not desktops

>both of them are mostly used to browse social media

it doesn't really matter if it could be done in theory if the users don't want it

On the PC you can change parts, it has better cooling and there's no point making sacrifices if you're going to use it at the desk anyway.

PCs in general are now for productivity, either work or competitive gaming. Because monitor and keyboard, mouse is superior to touchscreen.

You know you just make desktops sound like toys for children when you bring up gaming, right?

>lets ignore a decent chunk desktop users because it sounds childish
what a retarded take

Even chess?

It IS childish.
>take
Back to twitter, manchild.
