Brave's SpeechSynthesis fingerprinting mitigation has a backdoor that allows malicious websites to entirely bypass the "protection" and perfectly recover the original list of voices as if you were just using google chrome. You see, Brave's 900IQ mitigation for SpeechSynthesis.getVoices() is to insert one fake voice that is actually an alias for the first voice in the list, allowing websites to quickly iterate over every voice in the list and compare it to the first one and filter out Brave's fake voice. A stronger mitigation would be picking a random voice instead of the first one, then it becomes too computationally expensive to find the duplicate. But of course, they didn't do that.
