No. (You) broke your system. Come to /fglt/, describe what's wrong, and we'll help you fix it.

I had been using Arch since 2013. The last time when pacman broke my system was in 2018. Then I switched to Windows.

>blaming the user
Do archfags really?

literally the only time i had an issue on arch was when i broke my system
not the case on the other two distros i used meaning that the the user is at fault when something breaks on an arch system

>user is at fault
The user is more-less at fault when any system breaks. You should keep your system disconnected from the Internet and never turn it on if you want that the software will never break. However, Arch breaks way more than many other Linux distros. Even a small update can completely break it sometimes. I know that from my experience so don't try to lie to me.

Flatpak wouldn't have this problem.

i guess i was just stupid lucky then i guess
but even if that were the case, i had debian shit itself, i had manjaro decide not to use my nvidia card for some fucking reason, but arch was really stable for the few years that ive been using it
so, sorry that you had a bad experience i guess, but im doing just great

what are you talking about?
thunar is a file manager

What specifically? Was it related to the sudo passwords?

Do you have any proprietary software installed?
