I’ve come to really like Gentoo and Void when I don’t have a good processor. Seen Guix mentioned here a lot. What are your favorite distros?
Favorite Linux distro or BSD?
Linux Mint
I’ve only used it once and it was nice. Definitely a great distro for just getting up and running or beginners
ive been using linux for over a decade and have a job related to linux and i have found no need to switch off mint
For me, it's GNU Guix. There's a good reason you hear about it a lot.
Debian Xfce
Wasn’t suggesting there was, just the first use cases that came to mind
I should try Debian with i3
Definitely will try it. It used to get a lot of shit for buggy with hardware support but I bet it’s come a long way since
Fedora Silverblue cuz i actually want to get shit done
Gentoo dual boot for da memes

gentoo is just so comfy
Do you have to "recompile" your entire system to install an app or is that FUD? Gentoo seems pretty epic since it's tailored to your hardware and has zero bloat
