Why? It's very easy to use and generate content for, and you get sweet dopamine rushes when people like your shit, unlike here where you have to get a (you). It's not for me but it's obvious why it appeals to a lot of people. It's an extremely easy way to get social media dopamine. Just write some gay little 240 character thing and wait for people to like it. Modern social media is all about giving people dopamine as easy as possible.
