Except that there are some things Linux does better than Windows, but there are no things Godot does better than Unity or other industry standards. It is a passable tool that can be used to make cool stuff, but it's not the best at anything.

better workflow, better language, less BLOAT, not being spyware, not shipping malware, not giving half baked features so you end up buy assets, not making your folder 10GB for no reason, not running like shit, having a real pixel art mode without subpixel float blending, export being a nice .exe + .pck and not the bloat of unity folders, etc.

all unity features are pieces of shit so the unity devs make "best assets ever made" so the faggot users buy the assets.
Unity makes a cut from every asset sold, so is a good tactic to them.
