Does Rocketlake still have ddr4 support and how good is 5800x3d Shit I cant decide between amd and intel
Thomas Edwards
Bros I bought an IPS monitor and get glow at 100% brightness and 100% contrast while in a dark room, literally garbage, never buying IPS again
Jack Brooks
Do not listen to OLED shills.
Jaxson Phillips
>melts down thermal throttling
Liam Flores
Unironically my IPS glows at 20% brightness, as do all IPS. Horror games are ruined, in fact any game, movie, or show with dark scenes is ruined
Ian Ward
you shouldn't have it set at 100% contrast use lagom.nl to calibrate not that it will help with the glow, just sayin... if you are within the return/refund period, exchange it for another panel (same model or not) in hopes of better luck in the panel lottery
Sebastian Allen
Do listen to OLED shills

this is not a problem with your screen, all lcds are garbage VAs are slightly less terrible than IPSes (despite being shilled by all meme youtubers) but OLED is the only real solution
Julian Miller
>this is not a problem with your screen, all lcds are garbage that's not true ALL ips have SOME glow, but it really varies a lot if you're lucky its "yea, i can see it slightly in one corner, with the screen full black in a unlit room" if you're unlucky its like a unicorn jizzed rainbows all over your screen and did a very poor job wiping it off.
VA has no glow, but it can still have backlight bleed (ips can also have bleed, but usually its not even noticeable against the glow...)
oled is a solution, but so is miniled its not as good at HDR, ofc but it will stop glowing and bleed.

Is it possible to get rekt so bad on silicon lottery that I'm not deriving any benefit from 3600 MHz RAM on a 5600x?
i guess if im stupid i should just stick to the 3200 MHz if the RAM is $20 or more cheaper and save the money? But if the difference is like $15 or less, just go for the 3600 MHz?
Jason Miller
>But if the difference is like $15 or less, just go for the 3600 MHz? yup almost all 5000series should manage 1800mhz fclk or whatever its called if you go for 3800 ram, then you need to pray to the silicon gods
Isaiah Morris
miniled is a faster horse, oled is a car miniled is not a solution and not a different technology, it's just lcds with more dimming zones and maintains all the disadvantages of lcds and introduces a few of its own (like higher input lag)
I'm new to all of this, is 25 bucks a good deal for a Ti 1050?
Brayden Nelson
Anime website electiontourist-kun
Nolan Sullivan
yes but it's an entry level card so don't expect the world
Austin Phillips
yea, im with you but if you need a panel that can also be used for work/browsing/etc, it can't be an oled im always shilling lg c1 + one or two LCDs on monitor arms but not everyone can do this
anyways, to get back to the topic at hand, while haloing is still 100% an issue, notice how that apple screen has no ips glow or bleed?
Isaac Bennett
I just want a 3060ti for close to msrp
Jaxson White
i was gonna say just get it from bestbuy but it looks like it's still sold out Why is the 3060 Ti nowhere to be found when the 3070 Ti and other GPUs are available now? More efficient for crypto?
John Bell
Had a 2 x 16gb Corsair Vengeance LPX for 4 days and getting memory errors already. Serves me right for being cheap. Haven't done this shit for years, what's a good brand these days? Pairing with a 12700k and Gigabyte B660M. Not looking to overclock.
Jason Price
cheaper per amds slides from a 3-4 years ago, 98% of gamers own < $300 msrp gpus or was it 90%? some big % anyway
very, very few gamers are willing to drop close to $1k on a gpu many more are sufficiently demoralized to buy a $400 3060 or a $600 3060ti..
Ayden Clark
I remember thinking very hard on spending like $200 or something for my R9 380 like 6 years ago financial situation is a lot different now and sometimes I scare myself with how I treat money like water now, though it doesn't mean I like getting ripped off so I still wait for a sale even if it's ultimately negligible in the grand scheme of things
Landon Cooper
Corsair is a good brand, it's more likely to be your motherboard than a ram kit that has been produced ad infinitum over the past six years. But maybe you got a bad kit.
