The native extension is missing some small things that once you get used to you can't live without. Mouse wheel to change volume while hover-watching a webm, hover expand on catalog, clicking on a board link from the header opens the catalog (if that's what you choose as your default view), posting pictures from URL without having to manually download and then upload them, to name a few.
