Prepping for incoming WW3

I expect that in the coming years the Internet access will become very difficult and impossible at times.

I would imagine that you Any Forumsuys would have some nice infographics/links ready with guides on how to prepare myself for such situation by downloading lots of stuff (i.e. wikipedia, language learning resources, all kinds of guides) and how to store it (massive NAS configuration).

I will appreciate you sharing them with me as I would like to prepare to meet my end by consooming as much as possible before some missile explodes me in my apartment.

1. Download linux distro you like.
2. Download the entire repository to a normal hard drive.
3. Print out or save guide on same drive on how to use a local saved repository.
Why?
Now you have a full functional system with all the added software you may or may not ever need. You will not require an internet and can use just about any older PC depending if you also nabbed the 32-bit distro/repository as well.

You can't read yourself to survival mode.

Which distro do you recommend?

Debian is the main winner usually. MX Linux is what I have setup. It just comes down to what you are comfy with.

just buy a bunch of dried food and crisco for long term fat storage, canned meats, canned food in general.

some kind of water storage or manual water pump

There won't be a WWIII. There will be another massive wave of Covid, though.

would also suggest your own tanks of LP gas for cooking, heating, etc.

puppy linux for shtf

Arch ftw

Now adding on to the linux/repository.
1. Learn to setup DOSBOX.
2. Download by torrent or other the entire DOS games/software files. (about 2,600+ dos games alone if you get the full pack)
>but the graphics
Yeah, but they can all run on a potato. Fit almost everything on a 64 gb USB drive compressed. If the worst of worst happens you have entertainment that can run on anything. Emulators work as well.

You will probably live a boring life and die old. Nukes make sure that either:
>WW3 never happens
Or:
>WW3 happens and everyone dies, including you

lmao an old dude at the local community shelter that was doing computer classes for poors, he swore by puppy linux/

Correction, 8gb. Had to check other PC.
