Unless it's a widespread and well documented problem then I wouldn't bother about it. I've had both samsung and sandisk sd cards fail me before but even more that have worked perfectly fine and never game me a problem, like with all things you can get a dud but that's rare and most of the time you'll be fine.

If it's for WiFi usage go for it if you are buying from Europe. The SEAmonkey base model with 6gb/128gb has serious problems with the boards frying themselves afaik If you want to use with a network don't bother. American service providers are making white lists and unapproved devices are not allowed. For a burner phone with data get a shitty 20 dolla phone from Walmart or the equivalent of your shitty state
