You go into the damn BIOS and turn it off. It doesn't work independently , it is a keystore for various secrets. Even in the shitfuck advertising at CES they said Pluton can be used to A) store TPM 2.0 shit on the proc instead of the mobo, like if you have a cheap mobo without a swappable TPM 2.0 chip or wahtever the fuck often used by OEMs B) store some other encryption key for something else or C) turn the damn thing off if the user or OEM wants it.

So the thing is designed to be turned off. The docs listed so far have shown that its less of a pain in the ass and than the Intel ME / AMD PSP and both of those can be disabled today.

Not sure if retarded or merely pretending.jpg

Will this affect you at all if you're using Linux or old Windows?

pluton is a fancy TPM+Secure Boot

if you disable it then it wont interfere, unlike Intel ME or PSP which run on ring -3

By not installing Windows 11, and not subsidizing Microsoft products.

It's time for you to to move to Linux, user.

This is literally in the chip itself, even if you use Linux.
