What the creator calls the thing they made is 100% irrelevant. It's not an argument, it doesn't matter in the slightest.
I used to live near Chicago, the city commissioned a big sculpture to put in a park on the lakefront. The artist called it "Cloudgate". And nobody you met would know what you were talking about if you called it that. Everyone called it "the bean", since it was shaped like a bean. The artist raged about this. Everyone ignored him and continued calling the sculpture "the bean", because the artist's opinion is stupid. To my knowledge, they're still doing so there.
