I've been seeing a tonne of people saying Firefox has been shit lately, so I'm thinking they fucked something with a recent update. GPU crashing you can probably fix by turning off hardware acceleration, it's pretty unstable to begin with.

Some add was loading a pornosite every time I was starting firefox.
It was set not to remember any history and not to restore previous session.
Yet every time even after a clean install it would load that porno site.
I started the browser in troubleshoot mode and it stopped but I wonder how can a browser allow its addons to behave like that?

And the worst part is that the sandbox is unable to do hardware accelerated video decoding on Linux because they've programmed it like shit.
