Eh... even regular sex dolls are an odd engineering challenge because you need to balance weight weight, flexibility, and not fucking breaking when a 300 lb coomer lays on top of it for fucking. A robot would need to have a skeleton that can work within these parameters. On top of that, you need a physical appearance that doesn't hit uncanny valley.
More advanced sex robots would ideally be capable of holding a conversation in some way. Because the reason why people buy them instead of fleshlights is that they want a companion. Something that can simulate having an idealized girlfriend.
