Phone becomes slow and painful to use after a few years

>Phone becomes slow and painful to use after a few years
What did the technology industry mean by this?

>Phone becomes slow and painful to use after a few years
What did software developers mean by this?

Stopped being the case years ago

mine is close to 3 years and just as fast as when I got it

My moto from 2015 is almost unusable

I meant to

I've never experienced that

>every single thing you download on your phone runs on the background
>my chromebook was doing just fine until I started installing android apps
Why are they so bloated, anons?

I still use my Oneplus One from 2014.

Some storage devices get slower over time

I've had my Pixel 6 Pro since January and it still runs great.

i use nexus 5 2013

"buy a new phone, tech illiterate"

Get an iPhone 13 and you'll be able to use it for at least 5 years.

I will be using phones I bought a decade ago until the 4G/LTE sunset, I'm trying to Jew the Jew and not get invested in a device I can't repair/jailbreak.

my galaxy a50 is like 5 years old now and still runs like new

they are not phones anymore but ad viewers

ad and tracking frameworks
not even joking

phones haven't changed in the last 5 years. it's still the same few snapdragons and 4-8Gb ram. screens are the same since increasing pixel density won't be noticeable anymore. only thing that has changed are cameras which are just there to artificially raise prices
just delete some apps on your phone user. it's just slow cause all the shit you download constantly runs in the background

>Life hack: pay double for your next phone and you can use it the same amount of years
I feel like you should maybe stop helping

>use it for at least 5 years before it stops being supported by the manufacturer
vs
>use it for at least 6 months before it stops being supported by the manufacturer and then maybe stretch it out to 5 years
