Nice little editor
Basically a good notepad, not really for programming

bump

? have you even used it?

gedit with a few plugins from github is better than this imo

this and vim are all you need

it works. its stable. it doesn't change much over the years. it does its job quietly and without flash, which means its boring and uncool, and basically only used by academics and programmers these days. you're not going to fine geany fanboys on Any Forums

geany is nice and all but i'm a THONNY man t b h

geany is nice but i really like xed on mint. such a shame it doesn't have any ports for other operating systems or at least i'm not aware of them.

Sorry, but my heart is with Neovim.

Geany is alright, rather basic.

shill some more shitnigger

Yes, I switched it for sublime text when I discovered it existed. Then switched to vscode

It's lightweight enough to work as a text file viewer, which is something you need unless you open everything on your code editor, which I don't do

yeah yeah whatever, just give me my 3 wishes

>i wish plebbitors go back to wherever isn't here
>i wish rusteceans go back to discord
>i wish jannies touched some grass

i could've wished for more wishes, but i'm no jew

oh, so youre one of those people.

dangerously based

Oh yeah I pick a code editor for the features it offers, not to fill some aesthetics quota

yikes

A worse Kate editor if you ask me.

i'm not a programmer but i use this as my general purpose text editor/viewer
