I'm new to Linux trying to choose between Mint or Zorin OS which is a "Windows look-alike" distro that reminds people of Windows 7.

Is Zorin OS good?

what about that has anything to do with Zorin? looks like they're just showing off KDE
install gentoo
>Linux Tex
>Location: India
wait wtf it costs money. nevermind.
Just pick a normal distro, not one of these distros based on a distro that's based on a distro abominations.
aight. Mint and i'll go from there

Install Fedora with Cinnamon.
>spins.fedoraproject.org
It's free, there just happens to be a premium paid version.
Don't ask me what the difference is though, I have no idea.
Mint is based on Ubuntu which is based on Debian. There are three layers of potential fuck-ups in Mint.
This seems like a better idea if you want Cinnamon. Or maybe Arch with Cinnamon.
i heard Fedora and Arch arent for low iq mongrels like myself
Fedora is a really easy distro. You should try it.
Zorin is a scam just use Ubuntu or any of its community editions.

Yes, it's good. But Linux Mint is better.
how can a gnu/linux be a scam?
If you don't know anything about Linux, I'd say go ahead. It's trying to be as idiot-proof as possible. But if you're really hesitant, you can't really go wrong with either of these options.
linux mint ftw
>larger community
>made specifically for linux/computer beginners
>doesn't really look like windows, but it's structure is still very similiar
you can't go wrong with mint
stick to windows if you want windows. Linux is not for you.
when it forks other people's software and charges money to download it
