Pens and pencils are technology! In /ppg/, we discuss all pens and pencils dedicated to better your daily writing experience. Be it for study or office work.
Topics appropriate for discussion: -cleaning agents -filling systems -nib, pen & refill materials -tip and general pen design -ink compositions -general feeling/comfyness of pens
Can you get a stopper for these refillable cartridges so I can have one spare for when it runs out in the middle of diary entries? Its very annoying if I'm on the train or something.
Would someone be willing to make a pastebin with recommended pens and pencils by type?

Thanks, maybe later I'd like to get my hands on energel or whatever but I'm going to go through the ones I bought before considering buying in bulk. And yes, it's quite pricey here. e.g.: rotring 600 costs about $20 in amazon, they go for $60-100 here depending on the specs.
>what factors are you considering when you recommend fountain pens? The twsbi eco is a popular and affordable piston filler, the lami is also popular and affordable. The penbbs 480 has pretry consistently good tips, nice looking acrylic and is compatible with jowo #6 nib units so you can buy other nibs and swap them in easily. The jinhao is a big meaty cheap fountain pen that's got fairly reliable quality control, i guess i should probably suggest some dirt cheap Chinese pen but i haven't really tried enough of the really cheap ones to say.

For me its black Ive never been a big fan of blue ink, i really like blue-black but regular blue just seems too informal

The most important factor for a mechanical pencil is the lead. The actual pencil is whatever you like or feels comfortable, unless you're going for .3 or .2, at which point pentel orenz is your only option.

black, always
