Why is macOS praised so much? It doesn't even have a proper package manager
It's not Windows, provides a polished experience, and it's not Windows.

Neither does Linux.
Brew.
brew just works fine for me
Running random ruby scripts off GitHub and not being able to tell the contents of a package does not make you a proper package manager. Use MacPorts or Nix

It already comes with all the unix tools in the terminal you'd have to install yourself on linux, and for everything else brew just works
that doesn't maximize it
yes it does

I am literally replying to you on macos from a firefox window that I just maximised by double clicking the title bar
somehow after that double clicking didn't even do anything anymore
