id say so, most consistent: all it ensures is when you press it down you get a round spot over the cores, you don't "need" a square over the whole thing, just that the cores are covered mostly.

Draw a smiley face, you want your CPU to be happy don't you?
Kayden Gray
Pea is ideal unless you're using a single ccd hotspot CPU like the 5800X3D then you need multiple dots or X method.
Matthew Barnes
should my paste be spilling over

I wanted to write something edgy about slaves and sweatshops, but yes, even though it's an inanimate object, I appreciate everything my pc does for me, it's a trusty tool, a friend, even, that's always by your side and helps you with a lot of stuff and will never betray you Yes, I want my CPU and my PC to be happy, because they make me happy in a lot of ways
Justin King
That just means you're extra covered.
Kayden Green
no it shouldn't these assholes lied to you i hope you didnt get it on the pins clean it up as best you can and use a small dot
Cooper Phillips
if it's not conductive you are fine, look at GPU paste jobs, lots of excess goes over

de.pcpartpicker.com/list/7b9Nqm Just reading about all the shit on motherboards I realize I'm way out of my depth here. I guess the pcpartpicker system saves me from doing complete dumb shit. Can you recommend a case for me? No idea how big they have to be to be decent. Also probably not going to run something bigger than 3060 for at least 3 years so I guess the PSU is fine.

Help me decide guys, I have $500 to blow on upgrades, what should I upgrade?
My setup currently is:
12700K OC 5.1GHZ Artic Freezer II 240 MSI Z690 A PRO MB 32GB DDR4 3600MHZ PCI GEN3 512MB SAMSUNG SSD GTX 1070
I will be buying a gpu later so It cant be that. I was thinking maybe a MINI ITX 690 MB? and get a mini itx case, or a 2tb kingston 3000 7000MB/s
Levi Campbell
well given when i am looking at and what you have said why not an SSD 2 TB is about 200 dollars and then keep the rest for pad your GPU upgrade later ior a 4TB one if you want to splurge stupidly
Angel Edwards
Storage is always useful t. hoarder

>seething this hard he didn't get to post his shitpost OP Cry more.

>decided to not upgrade GPUs in 2017 because ethereum starting getting big and surely waitfagging would be rewarded >2022 >mfw good GPUs still can't be bought
>motherboards Realistically any B660 board will run a locked i5. So you're just left to make sure the board has the features you want. Stuff like USB ports, audio jacks, and so on. Make a list and read the spec pages.
>Can you recommend a case for me? How much are you willing to spend? Cheap? Nova Mesh SE, Matrexx 55, Focus G, Forge M. Midrange? Meshify C/2C, 4000D Airflow, P360A/P400A, PB500DX
Grayson Phillips
>shitlel >ever

The biggest upgrade would be the memory, going from 3600Mhz to something like 5000mhz is massive, you will notice it more than the faster pci gen 4.0, we are talking about a few seconds faster load times, vs 10-30 frames.
Dylan Harris
Stop shilling for DDR5 it's negligible
Liam Morris
Frankly your PC is fine. Upgrade something else (chair, speakers, peripherals, etc.) or save it to get a better card later.
