i havent bought an SSD in about 4 years and i go on Ebay to buy a new one and i see "8TB External SSD for $37!" and almost all the results are something around that, a shitload of storage for such a cheap price? Is this for real? Has storage gotten so large and cheap while I was looking away for 4 years? Or is this fake Chinese scam shit?
Being that this known brand is $28 for 240GB I'm inclined to believe those huge ones are fake. But yet the majority of the listings of of these absurdly huge TB ones.
This is if you're lucky, if you're not you get this

Buy it now faggot. Its not that expensive anyway
Daniel Roberts
Convenient. Also helps to boost my feedback for sales, since buyers rarely fucking leave feedback.

>MADE IN AMERICA Nah, "US stock" just means they have some of them here in the US already so you don't have to wait a month for it to come on a boat from China.

If you didn't immediately know it's fake, Any Forums probably is not the place for you.

It's a chink scam. 8TB ssds are thousands. If they're even bothering to spoof, they'll be a 32 or 64gb usb drive that spoofs as whatever space it claims to be and it'll just overwrite the same partition multiple times. Using a simple checker like h2testw will reveal it's fake. They'll claim that 8TB is the model number and has nothing to do with space. It's a chink scam do not buy it.
