Xcode

I thought Vscode is bad
why do you even use this?

I fucking hate that piece of shit but customers gotta have their iPhone shit.

react native doesn't have this problem

never heard a good opinion about xcode (or itunes)

It looks very bare-bones
I guess ios development is simple

its 100% streamlined for ios development and isn't meant for anything else

You still need xcode to compile any iOS application no matter what cross platform framework you use.

react native doesnt need me to ever open xcode. npm run ios is all i need

But it still has to be installed. The GUI isn't the problem. I just wanna build applications without having to buy a fucking Mac.

run it in qemu/kvm then? that's what i do

your hackintosh?
dont tell me you got filtered by freebsd?

Yes it does you fucking fake dev

I thought MacOS only works on the proprietary hardware? Can you really push an application to the AppStore from a VM?

hackintosh exists

I thought this whole time that a hackintosh was just a Mac with a non-MacOS system on it. I guess I'll just have to try this at some point; boss'll be glad he doesn't have to buy more Mac's for the development team. You'd think at least one of the dunces at work would've come up with this but I guess it's just the blind leading the blind.

the problem with hackintoshes is that only hardware supported by apple are supported
although getting the hardware is definitely cheaper than a new mac

just installed it and its 12gb of space

hackintosh might not survive when future software updates require apple silicone only

You only use it if you are forced to use it.
