On non-precision input devices like older laptop touchpads or mice, Firefox uses Bezier physics for scrolling. An alternative MSD physics backend was also implemented a while ago, some people prefer MSD and think Bezier is worse. What do you think? Should Mozilla replace the aging Bezier physics implementation?

oh no
I like the current scrolling "physics", in fact it's one of the reasons I like firefox better than chromium-based browsers, it's much smoother and comfier.
I never used MSD though I hope it's not worse than Bezier
I disable smooth scrolling
I just want it to move instantly
Animations are cringe
If Mozilla is changing something you can 100% guarantee it's for the worse and is probably designed to intentionally antagonize its remaining users.
>smooth scrolling
The only usable version of fox.
I like how one tranny can change the default for other million users
>firefox
>million users
You wish.
who gives a fuck about what current sjwzilla does? is it 2007 again?
>changes versions + features every few months
>not a version at all
>the only usable version
they could add an about:config flag to toggle it/switch it back for folks who prefer bezier
Correct. "Smooth" scrolling is in fact laggy scrolling. All UI animations exists solely to pander to brainlets.
I was expecting they found out inventor of bezier was a slave owner or something
I use PgUp and PgDn. Will this affect that?
So, is it better, worse, or indistinguishable?
It feels very different. i personally think it feels better but i guess its subjective.
I just enabled it in about:config. It feels a lot like Edge's scrolling.
>why is my browser taking up 69 gibs of memory??
what's the name of the flag ?
general.smoothScroll.msdPhysics.enabled
Holy shit I never knew what that was. Off it is.
>having fucking shitty smooth scrolling enabled at all
Holy fuck why, it's slow and ugly and distracting.
