It’s like water in a system full of electricity Any Forums
Why do people water cool their PCs?
water doesn't conduct electricity
I have mine watercooled for 3 reason
>mayor noise reduction (main reasons, my fans basically never start spinning)
>more overclocking overhead
>im not a retard who cant add watercooling without it leaking
Overclocking usually without ridiculous fans.
looks cool
AIOs are the default now
are you using an AIO or some custom setup?
CPU + GPU, or just GPU?
air cooled is way more aesthetic. watercooling looks like gaymer trash. big ole hunk of noctua will look cooler any day
this.
it aint hard and the noise factor is also my biggest concern.
ZMT Tubes all black no RGB looks way better IMHO
If I was that concerned about noise I'd just do the Linus thing and use a long thunderbolt cable with the PC in another room
build it myself, its not hard. Just dont buy some alibaba tier tubing or connectors
Because they're passionate idiots
sounds fun
always wanted to give it a try
and then have to get up to plug in shit or unplug it, having to get up to put in CDs, having to get up to turn it on and off... Like man when i want to work i want to work not run in circles
I use an air cooler because I like the way it looks and I have no problem keeping my system cool and quiet even overclocked by 30%. I am able to achieve that OC at 10mV over stock though but that may be down to the silicon lottery.
And having issues with power/sleep states? Also not everyone has the same space to do the "Linus thing"™
Bragging rights, its worse than air cooling.
10 years ago it was for free performance, nowadays is just for aesthetics and noise.
Why do you need to plug anything on the PC side when a thunderbolt dock gives you everything?
As for tuning the PC on Silverstone, has a keyfob
Still ends up cheaper than custom loop shit
>"Why the fuck do you have water cooling?"
"My computer is in the living room, noise is the most important factor for me"
>"LOL my air cooling is whisper quiet, you can't even hear them"
>Check out his pc
>Press power button
>Boeing 747 starts under the table
"You call that whisper quiet? Wtf?"
>"Yeah, I'm wearing headphones when using the computer"
Although not a single one is honest about it nowadays.
Just look at all the tards in this thread right now trying to rationalize their setup as a purely practical decision.
NH-D15 doesn't have this issue
