Google owns the Internet. And you

Just when I thought Google didn't own everything, I find out that Netflix and Steam use Google widevine.
Absolutely every part of my digital life is in some way monitored and analyzed by Google.

How do we stop this, anons? Next year breathing will be a Google service.
I'm serious, how exactly do we modify the Internet so that one company can't own it all?

stop streaming and playing video games

I own your mom.

>google owns you
No, they own you, I'm not a mindless consoomer so I can cut them off.

>how do WE stop this?
have you ever considered not using those services?
not my fucking problem, i'm not interested in watching globohomo shitty movies and series about transgenderism and leftist propaganda in general.

just pirate lol

>No, they own you, I'm not a mindless consoomer so I can cut them off.
he says, while on the internet, while posting on Any Forums

i'm doing your mom in the meantime so there is some productivity going on

Brave Browser is funded by Google too.
Magically the default search engine changed from Duckduckgo to Google.

based

google owns the dominant operating system (android)
dominant browser and browser engine
dominant search engine
dominant maps and direction service
dominant email provider
dominant video hosting service
dominant translation service
etc

does that mean you are on the beta grindset

Brave doesn't have a search deal with Jewgle

Not only is this super scary but it's also scary that people are too busy consuming memes that they don't care.

The only way to get rid of this is to build a brand new Internet from scratch and ban Google from it.
That way, they'd only own the "old Internet".

roll your browser back so their "services" don't work

It's already happening slowly but surely. I'm sure we will see it happen in the next decades or so...This or the total collapse of the internet and thecnology in general.

Make computers with shit hardware
srsly why do we need more than 128mb of ram computers ?

When we are limited we had the best ideas on the internet I dont get why systems nowdays have over 4gb of ram.

Honestly I dont mind 4tb of storage, but just so everyone could get offline access to a lot of TV shows and games letsay - srsly - video encoders are bloat too - I think we can him for AV1/VVC with custom made chips

remove this Patents meme - remove copyright
it will be hard to survive but we cant allow the talented people just live with good salaries in the big tech when we can have a lot of little things and fun.
Yes money had the help to ruin the internet - but its more of it. Its when tech became a target to gain money from other people.
Yes money helped and it did motivated things and people.

But you must understand that its more than that - also why this IBM boomers works at a car repair shop
when they can do a better job than any nodejs fagdev

>"take meds bro"
>will never rise up and fight the dystopia, just accepts it and consumes memes

I mean another way of looking at this is
Privatised
>Services run to increase profitability and userbase
Public
>Services run to achieve political and social objectives
Which would you prefer for big tech?
