inb4 a seething nvidiot cries about the recs

I just love computers, y'know? They're just NEAT

Imagine having that many programmable-RGB GPUs and not making them display patterns like scrolling dollar signs or whatever

But there's an Nvidia GPU on every rec tier.

good morning sir

>But there's an Nvidia GPU on every rec tier.
they dont care they will seethe about AMD being in the op at all see

5600x is going down in price, meanwhile 12400f is going up (as of right now) also 5600x is unlocked, fuck you retarded shills

Those are CPUs though, and he makes a fair point - why don't we recommend the cheaper F series Intel CPUs when the only difference is they have no integrated graphics which doesn't matter if you're getting a GPU

at least you're comparing them to their correct equivalent sku instead of the disingenuous price stack metric everyone else uses

>Imagine having that many programmable-RGB GPUs and not making them display patterns like scrolling dollar signs or whatever
a) miners are nofun
b) I'm surprised they haven't turned the rgb off to save power

Also consider that the 12400 is only $50 cheaper than the 5600x where that difference will be made up in the mobo cost, also >locked cpu

>5600x is going down in price, meanwhile 12400f is going up (as of right now)
A fair point though which is cheaper right now and by how much?
>also 5600x is unlocked, fuck you retarded shills
How much extra real performance can you reasonably get OCing a 5600x? I'm asking because I don't have a 5600x but my general experience has been a bit underwhelming with modern processors, only getting a couple extra percent faster when boost speeds are taken into account.

>miners are nofun
I'm aware of that but thought they would at least appreciate if they could get it to scroll "TO THE MOON", and post a video of that on their discord.

You're replying to one of the lowest IQ amdrones /pcbg/ is unfortunate to provide shelter to. Do you really think he has anything close to a reasonable answer for your questions?

how long do I have to wait to get a graphics card?

Now include motherboard cost.

>i5-11400 + rtx3050
>partpicker says 300w
>manufacturer recs 500w
>random yt builder uses 600w

so which one is it

2 more weeks.

My zowie fk1 has died after 7 and a half years of faithful service.
Anything new or interesting on the market for mice?

>300w
thats the usage, you generally want to add 20% extra for spikes, so a 400W psu would be fine
HOWEVER you also want to factor in future expansion 500w would likely be fine if you're going to end up upgrading with low tier parts again but overspeccing isn't the worst idea.
also you want to get a decent brand as well like corsair, evga, seasonic.
ultimately it depends on what you can get, if you can get a 600w psu from a good brand cheaper than a 500w psu from another good brand you would use the 600w psu.

Who gives a fuck? At this very second there's a $75 difference. I don't care to beg people to wait on your favowit widdle brand to get competitive

>the 12400 is only $50 cheaper than the 5600x
>that difference will be made up in the mobo cost
$75, the difference is $75 you little weasel. Mobos are not $75 apart considering your can get a sub-$100 H610 that has more functionality than B450 because at least you get PCIe 4.0 in the main slot, and B550 vs B660 is about $20 different between equivalent boards.

You have no choice except to lie because your widdle bwand can't compete

EZ

Depends on the price of the PSU. Minimum in my opinion is 500W, but if you're going to get a better graphics card later, you can get a 650W for a few bucks more that will allow you to expand later

>120$ b550
There are cheaper options than that

Not with wifi. If you don't need wifi, there's not a lot stopping you from getting a cheapo H610

the cheapest h610 i see is $105
meanwhile a520 can be had for $50

I'd get a nice 850 watt that has room for tons of expansion. PSUs with a lot of headroom will usually last longer than your other components.

12400 and 5600x is apples to oranges. When looking at its real equal in the 12400F, that gap widens to $80.
>mobo cost
This is overblown as hell. B660 is basically on par with B550 pricing. There are outliers that go over 200 bucks but everyone ignores those lmao.
>locked cpu
OCing is a meme especially on alder lake. They already operate near their peak.
